You may or may not be the copyright holder of the photograph you plan to submit to K9INFO.COM:

Photographs for which you are the Copyright or Trademark Owner:
You represent, that by submitting the photograph to K9INFO.COM, LLC. that the photograph is free of any Copyrights or Trademarks, and that you have the authority to grant K9INFO.COM, a Michigan limited liability company, non-exclusive right to use the photograph on the K9INFO.COM web site, in printed breed yearbooks, and in printed pedigrees incorporating the photographic image.

Professional Photographs or Photos for which you are not the Copyright or Trademark Owner:
If the photograph has a Copyright or Trademark, then you represent that you have the authority to grant K9INFO.COM, LLC., a Michigan limited liability company, non-exclusive right to use the photograph on the K9INFO.COM web site, in printed breed yearbooks, and in printed pedigrees incorporating the photographic image.

You hereby release and forever discharge K9INFO.COM, LLC., its agents, employees, and successors, and all persons, firms, or corporations liable or who might be claimed to be liable, from any and all liability for the publication and use of the photograph.

If you fail to provide K9INFO.COM, LLC. with a copyright release for a particular photo, that photo will not be published on the K9INFO.COM web site.

BREEDER/OWNER TERMS OF CONDUCT
K9INFO.COM expects the breeders and owners who subscribe to this site to behave in the most ethical and proscribed manner with regard to their breeding and business practices.

It is not possible, however, for K9INFO.COM to perform a background check or monitor each breeder who subscribes to this site. We will, however, investigate to the best of our abilities, complaints against breeders or owners who are currently subscribed to K9INFO.COM. The results of those investigations may or may not lead to a subscription suspension or ban. It is our intent to deal with every matter in the most fair and objective manner possible.

Those breeders who are suspended or banned will have a pro-rated balance of their subscription fee returned to them, less a $25 setup fee. Their contact information will be removed from the site, but all other information submitted (photos, etc...) will remain unless these items are deemed to be fraudulent.

Grounds for subscription suspension or ban include:

-Unethical breeding practices in which dogs are harmed or endangered
-Fraud or misrepresentation of information submitted to K9INFO.COM
-Confiscation of animals by an authorized authority for cruelty or hygiene violations
-Sale of dogs over the Internet or through pet stores
-Sale of known sick or diseased dogs

Each complaint presented to us will be dealt with on a case-by-case basis.

BREEDER/OWNER COMPLAINT SUBMISSION
In order to submit a complaint regarding a breeder or owner subscribed to K9INFO.COM, there must be evidence of public-record (i.e. publicly available) that the breeder or owner has, in fact, mistreated their animals. Submit this information with your complaint and we will begin a review and make a determination if that breeder or owner should be suspended or banned from this site. If no evidence of wrongdoing is submitted to K9INFO.COM, the matter will not be investigated.

Types of evidence we will accept include:

-Newspaper articles
-Veterinary reports
-Humane Society newsletters or Humane Society web site reports

Suspicion or rumor is not sufficient grounds for us to review a breeder or owner's listing on K9INFO.COM. If you suspect a breeder of inhumane treatment toward their animals, please contact your local or state Humane Society and follow their guidelines for requesting or initiating an investigation.

REFUND POLICY
Refunds will be issued for customers wishing to cancel their Breeder/Owner Subscription. The refund will calculated based on the original cost of the subscription and the number of months, rounded to the nearest month, remaining in the subscription less a $25 setup fee.

Upon cancelation, your contact information will be removed from the geographic listing and dog information pages. In addition, your personal web page will be disabled.

CHANGES TO THIS AGREEMENT
K9INFO.COM, LLC. may at any time in its sole discretion modify the terms of access to this site. Your continued use of the site following any such modification shall be deemed acceptance of such modification.

GENERAL
Any claim relating to this agreement shall be governed by the laws of the State of Michigan, United States of America. You hereby consent to the exclusive jurisdiction and venue of courts in Washtenaw County, Michigan, United States of America, in all disputes arising out of or relating to the use of this web site. Use of this web site is unauthorized in any jurisdiction that does not give effect to all provisions of these terms and conditions, including, without limitation, this paragraph.

This agreement constitutes the entire agreement of the parties with respect to the subject matter hereof and supersedes all prior oral and written agreements. No failure or delay on the part of K9INFO.COM, LLC. in exercising any right or remedy hereunder or enforcing the terms and conditions of this agreement will operate as a waiver thereof. If any part or provision of this agreement is found to be invalid, unenforceable or void, then the remaining portion shall remain in full force and effect. Headings are for convenience only and not for use in interpretation of this agreement.

You agree that no joint venture, partnership, employment, or agency relationship exists between you and K9INFO.COM, LLC. as a result of this agreement or use of this web site.

Fictitious names of companies, products, people, characters, and/or data mentioned herein are not intended to represent any real individual, company, product, or event.
